ABOUT OUR PROJECT

What is Gerontechnology?

Gerontechnology is a multidisciplinary field combining gerontology and technology, it comes matching technological environments to various facets of an ageing population.

With the development of technologies, such as the invention of the Internet, robotics, big data analysis and cloud computing, the Government and different enterprises can develop innovative products to cater to the needs of the elderly.

These products can help the elderly to regain autonomy, to provide instant health check, to ensure home safety, to enhance rehabilitation and to engage in the community, increasing their quality of life and self-care abilities.
