Apart from the LU Jockey Club Gerontechnology-X Lab at Lingnan, the Project Team also provides outreach activities such as Community Talk and Gerontech Mobile Lab with the themes of Health Care, Dining, Living and Transport. By going into to local communities, we hope to introduce Gerontech products in diverse aspects to the residents, promote awareness among the public, and provide hands-on experience of how Gerontech products can enhance the older adults’ and care-givers’ quality of life.
1. Gerontech Community Talk
Eight themes are available for community talks as follows. In each talk, participants will get to know some knowledge about the focused area and get hands-on experience on the related Gerontech products.

2. Gerontech Mobile Lab
Participant will get a brief understanding about the concept of Gerontechnology alongside with the showcase and hands-on experience on Gerontech products related to Health Care, Dining, Living and Transport.

Notes on Application:
- Outreach activities are by appointment only. Sessions will be arranged on a first-come-first-served basis.
- All outreach activities will be conducted in Cantonese.
- The activity duration is about 90 minutes. If special arrangement is needed, please feel free to contact the Project Team.
- The minimum no. of participant shall be 8 people.
