Navigation Scheme for Young Persons in Care Services

APIAS was approved by Social Welfare Department (SWD) to be the training institute to partner with Haven of Hope Christian Service (HOHSCS), providing 200 places for students in the coming years. Students who have enrolled the Scheme will be fully funded by SWD to take two-year part-time Certificate and Professional Diploma training course* provided by APIAS and LIFE (Certificate in Nursing Care for Elderly and Persons with Disabilities & Professional Diploma in Health and Social Services). Participants who successfully complete the first year training will be qualified for registration as Health Workers (HWs). Upon completion of the Professional Diploma, graduates of this program are able to use their skills and knowledge to work in health care, social welfare and commercial settings.
