Description
A Plastic Ocean is an adventure documentary shot on more than 20 locations over the past 4 years. Explorers Craig Leeson and Tanya Streeter and a team of international scientists reveal the causes and consequences of plastic pollution in the world’s oceans. The film documents how plastics, once they enter the oceans, would break up into small toxic particulates that enter the food chain. These toxins are stored in seafood's fatty tissues which eventually consumed by human and posed serious threats to human health. The film aims to get people more aware of the plastic pollution issue and continue limiting their waste by habit in the future.
