Before joining the CEAL, Joanna taught vocational and academic English at the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education. In CEAL, she is one of the ELSS Coordinator and teaches LUE4001 Professional Communication in English for Arts and Humanity. Her research interests include Teaching English as a Second Language and Technology Enhanced Learning.

Being a coffee lover who enjoys an afternoon stroll, Joanna also loves spending her free time reading novels by her favourite Japanese writer, Haruki Murakami.
