Introduction of new Court members
Mr Victor Chan obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Hong Kong in 1984. He has been admitted as a Solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong since 1991 and has approximately 26 years of experience in commercial law, and civil and criminal litigations. He is the principal of Messrs. Victor Chan & Co. He is also a director of Lingnan Education Organization.

Ms Leung Yuen-yee obtained a Higher Diploma in Chinese Literature and History from Lingnan College (now Lingnan University) in 1985. In the same year, she was admitted as a member of the UK-based Institute of Linguists (now Chartered Institute of Linguists). She obtained a MA degree in Translation from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1991 and a MEd degree from University of Bristol, UK in 1992. She has worked with the Hong Kong Government as a Chinese Language Officer for 16 years. She is a member of the Lingnan Education Organization.

Dr Jimmy Ma is a practising barrister, and former Legal Adviser of the Legislative Council Secretariat. He is an adjunct professor at City University of Hong Kong and Shenzhen University, and former President of Rotary Club of Happy Valley. Dr Ma obtained his doctoral degree in law from Peking University. He is a fellow of The Hong Kong Institute of Directors and Honorary Fellow of Hong Kong Translation Society. He was appointed Justice of the Peace in 1998, and was awarded the Silver Bauhinia Star in 2015.

Ms Dorothy Tong is the Director and also the Founder of Golden Turtle Consulting Limited. Prior to founding the company, Ms Tong had worked in various fields, including investment bank, media and non-profit organisation. She holds several degrees, including a Master of Laws (Chinese Business Law) degree and a Master of Science (Marketing) degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) degree from Lingnan University. She is currently a School Manager of Lingnan Secondary School and a member of Lingnan Education Organization.
Ms Dorothy Tong
Majored in Translation, Mr Foster Yim is amongst the first batch of graduates after Lingnan acquired University status in 1999. He continued his studies in Philosophy, Marketing and Law, and eventually became a practicing barrister in 2011. To live out the Lingnan Spirit, Mr Yim is eager to care for the underprivileged. He had helped the families of the six deceased in the Hot Air Balloon Accident in Luxor of Egypt to conduct the death inquest as well as the personal injuries claims. In recent years, Mr Yim has actively participated in Lingnan’s affairs, giving back to his alma mater.
