Lingnan joins Global Liberal Arts Alliance Leadership meeting

President Leonard K Cheng and Vice-President Prof Joshua Mok Ka-ho represented the University to attend the Global Liberal Arts Alliance (GLAA) Leadership meeting held at Al Akhawayn University in Morocco from 4 to 6 March. Under the theme “Engaging Liberal Learning Through Global Partnerships”, over 40 heads and chief academic officers from 30 alliance members across different continents got together to discuss the strategic directions of the Alliance. They addressed common issues that liberal arts institutions from different parts of the world confront in their quest to operate effectively and to prepare students to be engaged and contributing citizens, and build upon the successes of the Alliance programmes through the development of bilateral and multilateral partnerships that meet the strategic programme priorities of each institution.
