New Court members

Ms Sophia Wong Wai-yee and Dr William Leung Yin-yat were appointed as members of the Court for a term of three years with effect from 1 January 2018 and 20 February 2018 respectively.

Ms Sophia Wong Wai-yee

Ms Sophia Wong Wai-yee obtained her Bachelor of Education at University of Alberta, Canada. After graduation, Ms Wong started working at Hoo Wah Company Limited as the Company Director till today. Hoo Wah Company Limited, a well-established group specialising in property development, investment, property management, marketing and leasing of many kinds of properties, was founded by Dr Wong Hoo-chuen, the late father of Ms Wong. Dr Wong grew up as a Lingnanian and was actively involved in alumni activities in the past decades.

Dr William Leung Yin-yat

Dr William Leung Yin-yat, the Executive Director of Sham & Partners Limited, has a Master’s degree in Business Administration, a Master’s degree in Religious Study and a Doctoral degree in Business Administration. He graduated from Lingnan College in 1980 and has been serving as the Chairman of Lingnan University Alumni Association Hong Kong since 2017. He has also been a volunteer with Hong Kong Auxiliary Police Force, Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps and other organisations.
