Utilising Employment Services to Navigate Diverse Career Pathways
The seminar is an initiative designed to equip students, including those with special educational needs (SEN), with the knowledge and resources needed to navigate their career journeys effectively. The seminar focuses on highlighting and explaining the various employment services offered by the Labour Department. These include the Aim-Higher Scheme, designed to assist job seekers with SEN studying/studied in higher education, and the Greater Bay Area Youth Employment Scheme, providing comprehensive support for participants. The Working Holiday Scheme, offering cultural exchanges and international work experience, will also be covered. The seminar's goal is to enable students to understand and utilise these services effectively, empowering them to explore and pursue diverse career pathways.

Furthermore, information on available mental health resources and methods for ones to access will be highlighted, to refer to their loved ones or themselves, as supporting others can sometimes lead to emotional exhaustion. The seminar is delivered in collaboration with KELY Support Group, ensuring the provision of expert-led, practical advice.
