Auxiliary Undergraduate Scheme

The Scheme

AUSThe Auxiliary Undergraduate Scheme (AUS), previously known as Auxiliary Police (Undergraduates) Scheme, was first launched in 2003, with the aim of providing non-final year undergraduates with an opportunity to serve the community.

Selected applicants who can pass the physical test and panel interview will have to attend a 370 hours basic training in between June and August with pay. Those who can complete the training successfully will be posted to a Police formation and be required to complete the "Statutory Efficiency Training" annually.

For information about the Auxiliary Police training and information, please refer to the HK Auxiliary Police website.
