Sport Climbing Fun Day 運動攀登體驗日

Instructor: Ms Fanny Chan (Registered Sports Climbing Coach, Bold Expeditions Limited)

Medium of Instruction: Cantonese and English

ILP unit: 2 units in Physical Fitness and Well-being domain 

Description: In the sport climbing, the participants should build up self-esteem and leadership. Safe watching can build self-confidence and teamwork spirit, exercise physical fitness and willpower, and have fun in the atmosphere of sport climbing with mutual support. Registered Sports Climbing Coach will provide safety precaution and teach basic sports climbing technique. Equipment will be provided by the organizer.

Learn how to float in 2 hours 兩小時學識浮水

Instructor: Mr. Wan Yiu-Kwok (Experienced Swimming Coach)

Medium of Instruction: Cantonese

ILP unit: 2 units in Physical Fitness and Well-being domain 

Description: Learning how to float is the first lesson in learning how to swim. You need to relax your body, let go of your fears and give yourself to the water. In this workshop, you will be taught how to float in water.

Yoga and Stretching

Instructor: Ms. Michelle Li (Professional Yoga Instructor)

Medium of Instruction: Cantonese, English and Putonghua 

ILP unit: 1 unit in Physical Fitness and Well-being domain

Description: When practicing yoga, a high concentration is required to get the students to put aside the annoying trifles and put themselves into it to ease the stress of life. This class is suitable for students who have never been exposed to yoga.

HIIT Fitness Workshop

Instructor: Ms. Bobo Chan (Certified Fitness Specialist)

Medium of Instruction: Cantonese and English

ILP unit: 1 unit in Physical Fitness and Well-being domain

Description: High Intensity Interval Training (高強度間歇訓練) was proven to be an ideal training method for consuming energy in a short period of time. According to the American College of Sports Medicine, 15 mins of HIIT is having the same fat burning effect as 1 hour of jogging. From this workshop, you can learn and practice HIIT under the supervision of experienced instructor. You must wear sports clothes and running shoes.
