In view of the stablised COVID-19 situation, the University has decided to resume face-to-face teaching starting from the Summer Term. With immediate effect, diverse forms of student learning/research enhancement programmes for postgraduate students will also resume face-to-face or adopt hybrid mode for delivery.

Students enrolled in the summer courses and currently in Hong Kong are required to attend classes face-to-face, while those who are not physically in Hong Kong may seek approval from the Programme Directors to attend classes online.

Faculties, departments and programme offices are encouraged to organise more face-to-face teaching and learning activities as permitted by public health conditions to enrich students’ learning experience.

Colleagues and students attending face-to-face activities on campus are strongly advised to observe the latest preventive measures recommended by the University’s Health, Safety and Environment Committee ( https://www.ln.edu.hk/hse/notice ), and comply with requirement of the Vaccine Pass and use of LeaveHomeSafe mobile app for campus access ( https://www.ln.edu.hk/announcement/20220419/update-on-vaccine-pass-implementation-19-april-2022 ).

Please also note that the campus is open to current LU staff, students and registered visitors only until further notice.

The University continues to monitor the situation closely and will adopt appropriate precautionary measures necessary to maintain safety on our campus.
