Printing

ITSC provides printing services to staff and students in computer laboratories and Library (Information Commons). There are two charging methods, Octopus Printing and Printing Accounts.

Octopus Printing

Payments are settled by Octopus cards. Values can be added at the canteen.

Printing Accounts

Students have $20 free print quota every academic year. The quota can be used to print in teaching computer labs and specific copiers. Printing charges will be deducted from printing accounts. Adding value is not supported.

To print with your printing account,

1. Place your Student Card on the reader.
   
2. On the copier front panel, select "ELP NX" to find and print your documents.
3. Please logout (place your student card again or press the logout button) when done.
   
4. Print Balance can be checked at myLingnan Portal > IT Corner > Print Quota.

Remark: B/W printing/copying in colour copiers charges as colour printing.

Photocopying

Photocopying service (B/W and colour) is available in Octopus copiers in computer labs.  Charges are the same as printing (please refer to the table above).

Free scanning service, by scanning to email address, is available in all copiers in our computer labs.
