This talk will provide an introduction to basic concepts of intellectual property (IP) and intellectual property rights (IPR) for academic staff, researchers, and students. An overview of the different types of IP, the process and requirements for obtaining IP protection, and how IPR can be used to add commercial value to academic research and creative works will be presented.

JCI East Kowloon: Business Affairs Flagship Project – CEO101

CEO101 provides a platform to anyone to have a better understanding and experience of being an entrepreneur and what challenges and risks will be faced in reality. Through a whole year of mentorship and presentation, the participants will receive warm feedback from the facilitators, to find out what skills they lack and how they can be improved. As a result, participants can have a better foundation of their startup to boost innovation in Hong Kong and have greater financial empowerment.
