嶺大競逐政府研究資助取得佳績
大學教育資助委員會轄下的研究資助局公布2020/21年度若干研究項目資助計劃的競逐結果。嶺大共有22個項目獲優配研究金、傑出青年學者計劃，以及人文學及社會科學傑出學者計劃的資助，金額合共1,060萬港元。
本年獲資助金額較去年大幅增加了四成（即300萬港元），獲資助項目數量亦增加了22%。
嶺大在傑出青年學者計劃中表現尤其出色，本年資助金額較去年增長了140%。此外，在心理及語言學、人文學及藝術，以及生物學及醫學的組別中，嶺大的成功率比該組平均值分別高出18%、29%和69%。
