Scholarships for Students with Special Educational Needs

Students with sepcial educational needs (SEN) are encouraged to contact the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), which will work out an assistance plan for individuals once the individual needs are known.

Students with SEN are eligible to apply for the following: 


  • T.M. Gregory Memorial Scholarship / S.K.Y.Lee & Lee Chi Hung Scholarship for Hearing Impaired Students 2021/22

  • Endeavour Merit Awards under the HKSAR Government Scholarship Fund

The Trustee of the HKSAR Government Scholarship Fund has approved to award Endeavour Merit Awards to Lingnan students with special educational needs.  The scholarships shall be open for application by eligible students in December of each academic year.  Office of Student Affairs will send out email inviting applications.

  • The Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarship Scheme – Undergraduate Scholarship for Students with Special Education Needs

The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust will donate one scholarship to a full-time, local undergraduate Year 1 or Year 2 student with special education needs.  The number of years of award will cover a student’s full period of study, subject to satisfactory academic performance, community service and recommendations by head of the institution.  The value of the scholarship will cover tuition fee and living expenses of the current academic year.  The scholarships shall be open for application by eligible students in September of each academic year.  Office of Student Affairs will send out email inviting applications.
