Admission requirements 入學要求

  • MCS (including MCS(DCI))
    1. Applicants for admission to the MCS/MCS(DCI) Degree should:
      • hold a relevant bachelor’s degree awarded by a tertiary education institution recognised for this purpose by the University; or
      • have obtained an equivalent qualification; or
      • have provided satisfactory evidence of academic and professional attainment.
    2. Applicants should demonstrate proficiency in English; and
    3. An applicant whose degree or, exceptionally, an alternative qualification deemed equivalent from a tertiary institution is not using English as the medium of instruction (MOI) for the programme should obtain a minimum score of 550 (paper-based test) or 79 (internet-based test) in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), or a band score of 6.5 or above in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or an equivalent score in a recognised test, or an equivalent qualification to prove his/her language proficiency which will be considered on a case-by-case basis.*

    * For IELTS and TOEFL qualifications for admission to Term 2, 2018-19 intake and onwards, the University only accepts results that are within the validity period, viz. 2 years, from the time of submission of an admission application for the specific intake cohort.

    * For an applicant using TOEFL “MyBest scores” to fulfill the minimum required score of 79, the programme should use interview or other means to assess the applicant’s proficiency in English. 

    1. 申請入讀「文化研究碩士」/「文化研究(數字與文化創新)碩士」課程，應符合以下條件：
      • 持有與文化研究相關的學士學位；或
      • 考獲同等之資格；或
      • 具備相關的優秀學術及專業成就的證明。
    2. 申請人須具備良好的英文語文能力。
    3. 如申請人並非使用英語作為教學語言(MOI)以取得大學學位，必須符合英語水平的最低要求，例如達托福 (TOEFL)筆試550分/或托福網考79分 /或雅思國際英語語言測試 (IELTS) 6.5分。持有同等資格者，本課程會作個別考慮 。

Application 報名方法

Applications must be submitted online with settling an application fee of HK$ 400 via Lingnan University’s Online Application System.*

*All application fees paid are non-refundable and no receipt for application fee will be issued.

申請人須於嶺南大學網上報名平台遞交申請並同支付報名費港幣400元正，所有報名費用將不獲發還，本校亦不會發出收據。

    1-year Full-time (Local) / 一年全日制 (本地)

    For 2024-2025 intake, the annual tuition fee for full-time study is HK$114,900.

    於2024-2025年度入學之學生，每年學費為港幣$114,900。

    1-year Full-time (Non-local) / 一年全日制 (非本地)

    For 2024-2025 intake, the annual tuition fee for full-time study is HK$129,900.

    於2024-2025年度入學之學生，每年學費為港幣$129,900。
