Drawing the connection between the art industry and business always fascinates me and makes me eager to explore art business in a practical setting, which is why I accepted an internship at Design Society, a strategic partner of Victoria & Albert Museum. I was brought on board because of my knowledge of the art industry and extensive research experience, thanks to the comprehensive classes in art history and museum studies offered by the VS faculty.

During the three-month internship, I assisted in staging large-scale exhibitions, collaborated with internationally-acclaimed artists, and managed hundreds of pieces of artwork. The institution assigned me full responsibility for planning, promoting, and executing education programs and events, which attracted over a thousand visitors. The internship exposed me to multiple functions in art institution - marketing, curating, education, gallery operations, and business development, all of which uplifted my professional skills and expanded my understanding of the art business.
