Host Department 開辦部門

The BSSGEB Programme is offered and managed by the Department of Economics of Lingnan University. The Department is a multicultural community of academics dedicated to excellence in teaching, research, and community service. In the past two Research Assessment Exercises conducted for all universities in Hong Kong, the Department has demonstrated its excellence in research outputs and impacts. Undergraduate teaching of the Department of Economics takes place in the context of an interdisciplinary social sciences programme, where students can opt for their own discipline majors or interdisciplinary areas of interest. The Department also offers MPhil and PhD degrees in economics, and two taught master degree programmes, namely MSc. in International Banking and Finance (MIBF) and MSc. in International Development Economics (MIDE).

The Department of Economics is in charge of the Programme’s curricular design and quality assurance. The Department offers a variety of applied courses that enable students to understand better the contemporary economic issues and international affairs related to economics and banking.

環球經濟與銀行社會科學 (BSSGEB) 課程由嶺南大學經濟學系開辦和管理。經濟學系是一個多元文化的學術部門，致力在教學、研究和社區服務方面取得卓越成就；在過去兩次為香港所有大學進行的研究評審工作中，該系在研究成果和影響方面表現出色。經濟學系的本科課程隸屬於跨學科的社會科學學士課程，學生可以選擇自己的學科專業或跨學科的興趣領域。該系亦開辦經濟學研究碩士和博士學位，以及兩個修課式碩士課程（國際銀行與金融碩士(MIBF)及國際發展經濟學碩士(MIDE)）。

經濟學系負責該課程的設計和質素保證，並提供各種應用科目，使學生更了解與經濟學和銀行業相關的當代經濟議題和國際事務。
