Dr. Raymond Ng obtained his Diploma in Economics from Hong Kong Shue Yan University, MSocSc in Money, Banking and Finance from the University of Birmingham and PhD in Economics from Lancaster University, UK. Dr. Ng started his academic career in Lingnan University back in 1995 working as an economics researcher at the Centre for Asian Pacific Studies. He has extensive experiences in teaching economics courses, research, programme development and QA, and academic management in local tertiary institutions. Dr. Ng worked as Associate Director (Academic) at the School of Continuing and Professional Studies, The Chinese University of Hong Kong before rejoining Lingnan University as the Director of LIFE in 2015. He also served as Honorary Secretary of the Federation for Self-financing Tertiary Education (FSTE) during 2017-19.
