Biography
Dr. Chung's research has been focused on waste and environmental policies of Hong Kong and various issues related to waste management and recycling behaviour and is currently (2014) undertaking an Asian Development Bank project to improve waste management for two areas in the Philippines. She has also served as advisors to the Hong Kong Government on many waste management policy making and facility planning issues. She is now a member of the Advisory Council on Food and Environmental Hygiene, the Steering Committee on Territory-wide Food Waste Reduction Campaign, Appeal Tribunal Panel (in relation to s.45 of the Buildings Ordinance) and Buildings Energy Efficiency Disciplinary Board Panel, established under the Buildings Energy Efficiency (Registered Energy Assessors) Regulation (Cap. 610B).
