A research team at Lingnan University recently completed a study on "Hong Kong as an International Financial Centre for China and for the World". The study, funded by the RGC, is the first systematic examination of Hong Kong's strengths and strategic needs as an International Financial Centre.
On 10 December 2010, the Hong Kong Institute for Monetary Research (HKIMR), jointly with Lingnan University, will host a conference centered on the presentation and discussion of this work.
