Mr. Raymond So is a seasoned investment banking professional. He has worked in the capital markets area since mid-1990s in the UK and HK.  During the period, Ray held the positions as the Head of Convertible Bond desk at Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, Nomura, and ING, managing trading, sales, research, and issuance at various times. Ray started his career with Deutsche Bank as a derivatives trader. He has extensive cash and derivatives products knowledge. He has been the trainer for Treasury Markets Association (TMA) in Products and Risk Management since 2012.
 
Mr. So founded the non-profit organization Finance Entry(HK) to promote finance literacy and to provide career education to university students. He is an active mentor and career counselor for Lingnan’s MIBF Program and HKU's MBA Program.  Mr. So also briefly worked at HKU SPACE as a Senior Program Director prior to his teaching career, responsible for designing, developing, marketing, and administrating academic and executive programs in finance for individuals and corporates.
 
Ray completed a BSc. in Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics with Summa Cum Laude, and a MSc. in Engineering Mechanics from Columbia University, New York. He also holds a Master of Education, specializing in Career Education and Counselling, from HKU.
