Overseas Study Tours

MIDE programme aims to provide students with interdisciplinary training mainly in the fields of economics and finance by specializing in the Belt and Road Initiative and Economic Development. To achieve this goal, MIDE Programme organizes overseas study tour every year so that the students could understand the economic and social development under the Belt and Road Initiative.



Singapore and Malaysia Study Tour

Singapore and Malaysia has cooperated with China under the Belt and Road Initiative. The study tour offers the opportunity for students to visit NTU, International Monetary Fund in Singapore and Cheng Ho Museum in Malaysia in an attempt to have a deeper understanding about the local economic development and its importance on China's developement.

The Great Bay Area Field trip

The field trips are co-organised by the China Economic Research Programme (CERP), PAN Sutong Shanghai-Hong Kong Economic Policy Research Institute (PSEI) and MIDE Programme. It offers an opportunity for students to visit Shenzhen, Qianhai, Macau and Nansha to have a better understanding about the economic system and development model in the Great Bay Area, and the pros and cons of the youth's mobility to the Mainland China.
