Economics inspired me with how the society functions with orders and how people make rational decision. Courses in Economic Department is delivered in a more analytical method. The professors often encouraged me to interpret economic phenomena with a logical mind. Also, small- sized classes helped to build close relationship between professors and students. I often got timely guidance by the professors when I got confused.
I continued to pursue a master degree in economics at CUHK after obtained my bachelor degree with first class honor in 2016. Now I started my career in derivatives trading and investment analyst and worked as a licensed representative in Huatai (Hong Kong) Futures Ltd. The time I spent in Economic Department was fruitful and helped to build up my logical mind, which was essential to my further study and career path.
