Fiona Zheng

I graduated from Lingnan in 2017. Currently, I am pursuing my master’s degree at Columbia University in New York.

I always feel lucky to be have been part of the English major cohort. The professors are the most supportive group of people I’ve ever met in my life. The knowledge and skills I learned from them are critical, to name a few: critical thinking, creativity, empathy and communication skills. Their classes and teaching styles continued to inspire me even after graduation. For me, they are more than researchers and scholars. They are the best teachers and life mentors I could ever have asked for. If there are standards for being liberal arts educators, they are the standards!
