Production and Operations Management Society (POMS) International Conference Organisers' Recognition (POMS HK Chapter Community)

The POMS International Conference Organisers’ Recognition Session was held online on April 23, 2022 to honour the contributions and efforts of the organisers of POMS conferences in 2021-2022. Efforts for three conferences were recognised at the session (POMS International Conference in Lima, Peru; POMS International Conference in Mumbai, India; and The 12th POMS-HK Chapter International Conference in Hong Kong). At the recognition session, the leadership teams of the three conferences shared highlights and moments from their conferences. Dean Mingming Leng, Prof Liping Liang, and Prof Weixin Shang shared a few words about the great success of the 12th POMS-HK Chapter International Conference. The remainder of the session was spent in breakout rooms in which professors discussed their research areas with respect to operations management.
