‘I had a very memorable time studying Master of Accountancy at Lingnan University. The programme curriculum is very comprehensive and practical. I have acquired the specialized knowledge, enhanced my time management and multi-tasking skills and improved my presentation skills, which are valuable for my future career development. All professors and administrative staff care about our learning process and career placement. Through the programme activities, I have obtained valuable opportunities to communicate with accounting practitioners directly and got advices from them.

It is also my great honour to be inducted as a lifetime member of the Beta Gamma Sigma society, besides being awarded the HKICPA scholarship for academic excellence.’

Our academic advisors are very accessible not only in providing academic support, but also imparting us with valuable job-hunting skills. Their sharing and experiences are impressive and will be my motto in the future.

Apart from learning, the Programme also offers a lot of job seeking related activities to us. I have already received an offer from a reputable CPA firm before graduation. Frankly, I have got so much more than a master's certificate at Lingnan!’

‘This one year learning experience in Lingnan MAcc Programme let me have a deeper understanding of both local and international accounting practices. The knowledge I acquired from the Programme is very relevant not only to the professional accounting qualification examinations but also the real work environments.

Other than lectures, the MAcc Programme organised workshops and seminars with topics on personal image and self-packaging, CV writing, and job interview in order to improve our employability. My one year studies in Lingnan University has been a fulfilling and rewarding experience. I have dreamed of working in one of the leading international accounting firms since I enrolled into this Programme. Now my dream has come true!’

‘Choosing Lingnan PGDA & MAcc Programme is the best decision in my life. The MAcc Programme has been accredited by the HKICPA as a conversion programme so that students who previously have no accountancy background would be able to register as a QP student after completing the programme. The MAcc courses such as “China Taxation” and “China Economy Law” are particularly relevant to the CICPA qualification examinations. The programme design and course content equip us with necessary knowledge in achieving the professional qualifications.’
