Prof. An received his PhD and MSc degrees from The University of Edinburgh in 2021. Before joining Lingnan University, he was on the faculty team at the University of Aberdeen. His research interests include finance and development, history and finance, and corporate finance. His research has been presented at various leading conferences (e.g., AEA) and received multiple best paper awards. His papers have been published in leading journals such as Journal of Financial Economics and Journal of Development Economics. He is also a CFA charter holder.
