"Speed dating": Insurance Students Meet the Industry 2016
The Hong Kong Insurance Law Association Limited (HILA) is organising the third "Speed dating": Insurance Students Meet the Industry event. This event is designed to allow students interested in a career in insurance law or insurance-related fields to meet potential employers and vice versa, in a relaxed social environment. It aims to improve students' knowledge of what jobs are available in the industry and what the people doing these jobs actually do on a day to day basis. Date and Time : Wednesday 9 March 2016, from 7 pm onwards Lucky draw with great prizes (including a short vacation scheme at Lloyd's) and use the opportunity to announce the results of HILA's essay competition which was judged by Professor Rob Merkin, Mr. Anthony Sassi, and Ms. Joanie Ko. Over 50 students from City University, Lingnan University, the University of Hong Kong, and Hong Kong Polytechnic University signed up to the speed dating event in March 2015, which was sponsored by various sectors of the industry, such as GARD P & I Club, Aon, Holman Fenwick Willan.
