CITIES AND URBAN GOVERNANCE

IPS brings together scholars from a wide array of disciplines, including city planning, housing studies, sociology, geography and data science, IPS offers an interdisciplinary hub promoting collaborative, ingenious and critical inquiry into the complex urban challenges in contemporary cities. IPS also actively works in partnership with a range of different non-academic and community-based organisations to find new pathways for sustainable urban governance.

WELL-BEING AND SOCIAL POLICY

IPS brings together a group of scholars who share a commitment to local, regional and international research on the areas of healthy and active ageing, health and well-being of children and youth, inclusion of ethnic minority groups, employment and labour market policies that provide venues for knowledge transfer between academia and the policy communities.
