ITSC Helpdesk System

It is a self service system for users to submit incident tickets (for reporting problems and submitting enquiries) and request services from ITSC. Users can check the status of their own reported incidents and submitted service requests. Users can also browse or search for Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), self help articles which you can find answers for most of the common questions.

How to Access?

Log in “myLingnan Portal”, select “IT Corner” and click “ITSC Helpdesk”.

ITSC Helpdesk

  1. List of Common Service Requests and Popular Self Help Articles
    You can simply submit commonly used Service Requests from the list or get help from the popular knowledge articles.  
  2. Submit an Incident Ticket
    You can report problems or submit enquiries by filling in all the necessary information. Supporting documents can also be attached here.
  3. Request a Service
    You can submit Service Requests by selecting the appropriate forms from the categories and fill in all the necessary information.
    For example, to loan for AV Equipment, choose “Equipment on-loan” under “Categories”, select “AV Equipment On Loan”, fill in all the information required and submit the form. Supporting documents can also be attached here.
  4. View Self Help Articles
    You can browse and search for Frequently Asked Questions and self help articles to get useful information before you report a problem or submit a service request.
  5. Manage Approvals
    You can find the requests that are waiting for your approval.
  6. My Activity
    You can check the status of your reported incidents and submitted service requests.
  7. Search for Service Requests and Self Help Articles
    You can enter any keywords and click "Search".
