Lingnan Institute of Further Education (LIFE)


Lingnan Institute of Further Education (LIFE)  is the self-financing arm of Lingnan University providing various full-time academic and part-time continuing education programmes, including Postgraduate Diploma, overseas top-up degree, Associate Degree, Higher Diploma, Diploma, Diploma Yi Jin and other Lifelong and professional education programmes to meet the diverse learning needs of society. Applications are now invited for the following post:


Assistant Administrative Officer/Administrative Assistant

The appointee will be required to (a) organize and coordinate the admission promotion and outreach activities to secondary schools, admission seminars, articulation talks and alumni services; (b) handle mainland student admission activities; (c) deliver brand building events and website management, and maintain social media platform; (d) handle the production of prospectus, annual report and other publications, etc.; (e) prepare press releases and speeches; and (f) perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.



Applicants should possess (i) a bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Journalism/Communications or related discipline; (ii) 2 years’ working experience preferably with relevant experience in tertiary education sector; (iii) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (iv) a high level of computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese word processing and webpage applications; and (v) the ability to work independently and communicate effectively. The appointees should be self-initiated, well-organized and a good team player. Applicants who are immediately available are highly preferred.


Candidates with less/more experience will also be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.


Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.


Salary and Fringe Benefits
Commencing salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity. Appointment will be made on fixed-term contract, which will be renewable subject to mutual agreement.
