Residential Education

To align with the University Strategic Plan, Residential Programmes about innovation and entrepreneurship are designed to augment resources and knowledge exchange within the Lingnan Hostel Community. In complement to each Hostel’s unique Living Learning Community, residents are encouraged to create innovative and collaborative workflows engineered to tackle big projects and prototype to the discovery of new solutions.

The intellectual development and horizons of students will be enhanced through a co-curriculum of hostel education and the daily interactions with other hostel residents. Student Hostel Associations and residents are greatly encouraged to design new projects or initiatives that could make a positive impact on the hostel community as well as the University.

Lingnan Entrepreneurship Initiative is collaborating with the Office of Student Affairs to develop and deliver programmes related to Innovative and Entrepreneurship (I&E) topics for all students include hostel residents. Some programmes include the Design Thinking workshop, Hostel Entrepreneurial Laboratory (HEL) and more.
