Application Process

For Start-up and Incubation Fund Applicants (30,000HKD for 6 months duration with mid-term review)
Step 1: Submit the Application form with a 10-slide PPT and CV for Start-up and Incubation Fund applicants (The slides should include all 9 elements from the Business Model Canvas.)
Step 2: Pitch your idea during an interview
Step 3: Accepted Applicant > Submit start-up proposal > Proposal Approved by LEI > Sign Agreement Form
Step 4: Begin the business operation
Step 5: Business Registration
Step 6: After spending the first 15,000HKD, LEI will conduct a mid-term progress review to justify if the team will be accepted for another 15,000HKD
Step 7: Used up 30,000HKD in 6 months and submit a Final Report.

For Internship Applicants (8,000HKD per month for maximum 6 months duration with mid-term review)
Step 1: Submit the application form and CV for Internship applicants
Step 2: Attend an interview
Step 3: Accepted Applicant > Nominate to selected companies
Step 4: Conduct 2nd interviews and 3rd interviews by selected companies
Step 5: Begin the internship programme
Step 6: Mid-term consultation with LEI
Step 7: Finish 6 months internship and submit a Final Report.

*LEI reserves the right to make final decisions on all processes.
