The Social Innovation+ Competition, sponsored by Bank of China (Hong Kong) and organized by Education For Good is now OPEN for application! 

Submit a simple 2-page Executive Summary and stand a chance to win up to HK$30,000 and Paid Summer Internship Opportunities in Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited, or Bank of China's entities in the mainland of China and the ASEAN countries.

Dare To Change Business Pitch Competition (Closed)

YDC Dare To Change Business Pitch Competition offers all tertiary students in Hong Kong a chance to step out of their comfort zone and conduct a five-minute pitch of their business ideas in front of seasoned executives.

All participants will be given instant feedbacks by seasoned executives, as well as certifies of participation as encouragement. Finalists will also receive one-to-one guidance from business professionals with subsidies as a start-up fund. Not only will they have an opportunity to execute their business ideas in an office offered by the HKSTP on a free rental basis, winning teams will also be recommended to regional contests.

LU x SCMP Challenge

【LU x SCMP Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge 2019】(Closed)

The South China Morning Post (SCMP) is collaborating with Lingnan Entrepreneurship Initiative (LEI), Student Services Centre, Office of Service-Learning and Department of Management to organize the first LU-SCMP Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge 2019 this year. It comprises training and competition to encourage Lingnanians to transform their business and innovation ideas into entrepreneurial startups.

Application Period: 10 Jan – 8 Feb 2019 (Quota is limited!)

Students who have successfully enrolled in the Challenge will get a free bonus gift: SCMP 1 year weekend subscription which values HK$1,050.

公益金「實踐.社創」社會創新策劃比賽 Social Innovation in Motion (Closed)

The Community Chest has organised the “Social Innovation In Motion” (SIiM) competition for tertiary students. You are encouraged to come up with innovative fund-raising ideas for the Chest OR new service ideas for its member organisations.

Finalist will be mentored by our judges, in person, on their pitching proposal for the final presentation on 9 March 2019. Prize for the champion, 1st and 2nd runner-up is HK$50,000, $30,000 and $10,000 respectively + internship in partnering organisations.

Startup Weekend Hong Kong +ve Ageing @ Lingnan University (Closed)

Startup Weekend is a 54-hour weekend event, participants will form teams, brainstorm, design products, validate business ideas and pitch in front of experienced judges on Sunday evening. Some people will meet their co-founder at the event. Some may even move on to start a company after the exhaustive, yet inspiring, event. The 3 winners of Startup Weekend Hong Kong @ Lingnan University will get a chance to enter the Hong Kong Social Enterprise Challenge and other prizes.

Singapore Airlines AppChallenge 2018 (Closed)

Students are invited to form teams of 2 - 4 and brainstorm innovative solutions that can tackle major pain points in the airlines industry, covering areas in improving mobile app engagement; streamlining offloaded passenger compensation process; unlocking new shopping experience, installing food and inventory tracking systems, etc.

Participants are required to submit their ideas online before the 30th of September, 2018. All those who have qualified will be flown to Singapore for the final pitch on 27th of October, 2018.
