About us

Lingnan Robotics Team was established in 2022 with the support of Lingnan Entrepreneurship Initiative. Our aim is to promote science and technology to students. The team will represent the university to participate in various technology-related events and competitions. One of them is the ABU Robocon. It is an international robotics contest for undergraduates, where students design and build their robots from scratch. The theme of competition changes from year to year with different hosting country.

Learning outcomes

Students will work together to design and build robots or other applications for events and competitions. During the process students will learn a wide range of tech skills such as 3D modelling, programming and electronics. Students will have the opportunity to make new friends, meet passionate students from other schools and compete in fun and challenging competitions.

Recruitment

No prior experience is required for new-comers. But students are expected to self-learn and actively engage in team activities. The recruitment usually takes place in the beginning of an academic year. Please stay tuned for the announcements.
