LU and Guangdong University of Technology's Summer Workshop stimulates entrepreneurship and ideas in quality education

On 12 and 13 July, the Lingnan Entrepreneurship Initiative (LEI) and the College of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the Guangdong University of Technology (GDUT) organised the first cross-border activities for the LU X GDUT Joint Centre.

The two-day entrepreneurial experiential workshop attracted over 50 participants from the two universities, offering students opportunities to brainstorm and exchange ideas on pressing quality education needs in their communities and ways to apply them by setting up sustainable start-ups and social enterprises.

As well as start-up and business model workshops held by LEI mentors, there was a sharing session by one of the founders of an education technology company in Guangzhou.
