LEI’s Women Entrepreneurship Week to promote gender equality and female entrepreneurs

In collaboration with Montclair State University in the US, the Lingnan Entrepreneurship Initiative (LEI) organised the first Women Entrepreneurship Week (WEW) from 18 to 22 October 2021 to promote gender equality and present Lingnan’s female entrepreneurs on campus.

The event featured two workshops and a sharing forum with Ms Faye Wan, co-founder of Reddish Pimple, Ms Gloria Ng, co-founder of KOElderly and Ms Kitty Cheung, founder of Sweety Meow Bakery & KittyC Fitness who described their entrepreneurial journeys to the students.

 

Workshops participants learned how to stitch and embroider from Ms Kelia Ho, the founder of Idyllic Embroidery, and Ms Wan of Reddish Pimple gave a crochet class.
