Lingnan volunteers visit Tuen Mun elderly for festive joy at Lunar New Year

On 6 January, a team of 20 Lingnan volunteers visited over 230 elderly residents of Fu Tai Estate, and distributed gift bags and turnip cakes to share festive joy at the Lunar New Year.

In collaboration with Fu Tai Neighbourhood Elderly Centre of The Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council, the Home Visit - The Elderly in Tuen Mun event under LU Community Service Programme endeavours to raise the wellbeing and sense of belonging of the aged - particularly those who are immobile and who live on their own - through face-to-face interaction, and to care for and support those in need.
