Over 140 Tuen Mun primary school students taste the life of Lingnan

The “A Day at University” event took place at Lingnan campus for over 140 students from 17 Tuen Mun primary schools on 25 February, presenting a series of experience lectures in green life with plastic classification and food waste treatment, and biodiversity of local turtles, as well as guided tours around the sports complex and library.

 

Students were given lectures by the Science Unit on classification of plastics, treatment of food waste and biodiversity.

 

Under the “Strive for Success” Tuen Mun District Primary Students Award Scheme 2022/23, the event was jointly organised by the Office of Student Affairs of LU, Tuen Mun District Youth Programme Committee and Tuen Mun District Office of Home Affairs Department, aiming to encourage primary students to accomplish their goals set and to establish positive values and life directions.
