New appointments and re-appointments to the Council and the Court

The following appointments and re-appointments to the Council and the Court of the University have been made recently.

 

Re-appointments to the Council

  • Mr Rex Auyeung Pak-kuen as Chairman of the Council and ex-officio member of the Court for another term of three years with effect from 22 October 2017.
  • Mr Simon Ip Shing-hing as Deputy Chairman of the Council and ex-officio member of the Court for another term of three years with effect from 22 October 2017.
  • Ms Katherine Cheung Marn-kay as a member of the Council and ex-officio member of the Court for another term of three years with effect from 22 October 2017.
  • Mr Martin Downey as a member of the Council for another term of three years with effect from 22 October 2017.
  • Ms Jennifer Cheung Hok-yan as a member of the Council and ex-officio member of the Court for another term of three years with effect from 1 January 2018.

 

New appointments to the Court

  • Dr David Chan Pun to succeed Dr Frank Law Sai-kit as Chairman of the Court for a term of three years with effect from 1 November 2017.
  • Mr Foster Yim Hong-cheuk as a member of the Court for a term of three years with effect from 1 November 2017.
  • Mr Victor Chan Chung-yin, Ms Leung Yuen-yee, Dr Jimmy Ma Yiu-tim and Ms Dorothy Tong Ching-hing as members of the Court for a term of three years with effect from 1 January 2018.

 

Re-appointments to the Court

  • Mrs Agnes Koon Woo Kam-oi as Deputy Chairman and member of the Court for a term of three years with effect from 1 October 2017.
  • Mr Chan Cheuk-man, Mr Steven Chan Man-tat, Mr Thomas Chiu Sai-kit and Ms Felicia Wai Sik-yin as members of the Court for another term of three years with effect from 1 January 2018.

 

The University extends warm welcome to new Court members, and expresses its deepest thanks to Dr Frank Law Sai-kit, Chairman of the Court and the following outgoing Court members for their invaluable contributions to the Court and the development of the University:
