Lingnan Chronicle – successful stories of distinguished Lingnanians

The latest issue of Lingnan Chronicle features a number of stories of distinguished Lingnanians who live up to the University’s motto of “Education For Service”. In particular, Prof Paul WHITLA, Associate Professor of Teaching from the Department of Marketing and International Business, who received the Distinguished Teacher Award, shares his 24 years of unwavering efforts to inspire students and new teachers with his passion and professionalism.

 

We also interviewed Prof LAU Chi-Pang, Professor of Department of History and Co-ordinator of Hong Kong and South China Historical Research Programme, and asked how the “Jockey Club ICH+ Innovative Heritage Education Programme” he led could promote the transmission of the intangible cultural heritage (ICH) of Hong Kong by raising awareness through education.
