Artist-in-residence Nunzio Paci’s works on campus

Whereas the latest artist-in-residence Nunzio Paci has finished his term at LU, his works and memories remain. Here is a list of the pieces which the Italian artist accomplished on our Tuen Mun campus.

Paci held a studio practice course named “Shaping Identities”, and very much appreciated the way students reproduced meticulous artworks based on natural objects he had collected. “The campus here is super cute. I met very helpful and nice people. It’s one of the most beautiful experiences in my life,” he said.

He reminded students that they “need to be free to follow their instincts, and to be proud to explain their own sensations and feelings”.

“To be an artist is not a choice, but sort of a state of mind. You have to start to see everything surrounding you. Try to create, try to use your imagination, and try to transform your daily life every day.”
