Professor and students from The University of Nottingham Ningbo China visited Lingnan for academic exchange

Prof John Lowe from The University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) led a group of postgraduate students to visit Lingnan University on 10 May for academic exchange. The visit aimed to enhance mutual understanding and collaboration between the two universities, and enrich postgraduate students’ learning experiences, and prompt their international and intercultural understanding.
 
Arranged by the University’s Division of Graduate Studies and Office of Mainland and International Programmes, the group from UNNC met with faculty members and postgraduate students of Lingnan. In the meeting, Ms Angela Ng, Programme Manager at OMIP, introduced Lingnan’s strategies and development of international learning. Prof Joshua Mok Ka-ho, Vice-President and Chair Professor of Comparative Policy gave an academic talk on “Quest for world-class university: Implications for sustainable development of Asia universities”. In the sharing session, postgraduate students from UNNC had an in-depth discussion with speakers, faculty members and postgraduate students from Lingnan University. The meeting was followed by a tour to the Fong Sum Wood Library.
