Lingnan University Online JUPAS Score Calculator and Local Scholarship Scheme for JUPAS Entrants

Lingnan University announced earlier to adopt the “best five subjects” approach with subject weightings in calculating the JUPAS admission scores this year within the General Entrance Requirements of 33222, and launched the online JUPAS Score Calculator (http://www.LN.edu.hk/admissions/ug/jupas/calculator.php) earlier this year.  For more details, please visit the website http://www.LN.edu.hk/admissions/ug/jupas/news.php. 

 

This new approach will provide greater flexibility for JUPAS applicants who are interested in Lingnan’s liberal arts education to plan carefully and take additional elective subjects relevant for arts, business and social sciences disciplines.   Lingnan’s JUPAS Score Calculator is easy to operate.  JUPAS applicants can have a preliminary overview on their weighted best five scores for all Lingnan’s undergraduate programmes.  They only need to input their HKDSE examination results ONCE and the webpage will show the weighted scores for ALL our programmes in one screen.  This tool is useful to applicants in making informed decisions on their selection of JUPAS programme choices. 

 

Besides, a new scholarship exclusively for JUPAS applicants has been established with effect from 2018/19.  Students whose HKDSE results satisfy the award criteria will be offered scholarships corresponding to their highest academic achievements.  Students will be awarded a Full-tuition Scholarship (renewable) with a HKDSE score of 25 or above and Level 4 or above in both Chinese and English Languages.  For details, please visit the website http://www.LN.edu.hk/admissions/ug/jupas/scholarships.php.
