Lingnan University (LU) received the highest score among the eight UGC-funded universities regarding “undergraduate satisfaction with the quality and value which they have gained from their teaching and learning experience” in the University Grants Committee’s University Accountability Agreements annual progress report 2019. This has been the second consecutive year in which the University comes top in the area that is based on evaluation by students.

LU also received again the second best score in “undergraduate satisfaction with their overall learning environment”.

Prof Leonard K Cheng, President of Lingnan University, is pleased with the result. “This is the second year that we receive top scores in the area of undergraduates’ satisfaction in teaching quality. The result not only signifies the recognition of our teaching quality by our students, it also echoes our recent achievement that LU was ranked second in the world for ‘Quality Education’ by the Times Higher Education in their University Impact Rankings 2020,” he said. “As a leading liberal arts university, Lingnan places the provision of quality education as its primary mission and one of its core values. I would like to thank all our colleagues for their hard work in offering excellent learning experiences to our students. We shall continue to nurture future leaders to serve the community.”
