Faculty of Business and The Academy of Digital China (Fujian) sign strategic collaboration agreement to nurture digital economy talent

The Faculty of Business of LU and The Academy of Digital China (Fujian) signed a strategic collaboration agreement on 25 April to strengthen their long-term partnership in research and talent training in digital economy, culture and ecosystem, e-government and smart city.

 

Support by Tsinghua University and The Academy of Digital China (Fujian), the new Doctor of Business Administration in Global Digital Economy and Governance programme which LU has introduced this year trains and inspires students to become business leaders with an international, innovative perspective and forward-thinking mindset.

 

The partnership will further strengthen the collaboration between the two institutions, who will set up more training programmes in digital technology and applications, and work together on research projects.

 

“We are eager to complement each other and collaborate in research and development, talent training and digital technology to achieve win-win outcomes,” said Prof Leng Mingming, Dean of the Faculty of Business of LU. He added that that the two institutions will co-host a number of summer programmes and advanced seminars on digital technology in countries along the Maritime Silk Road. They will also carry out joint research projects and cooperate with industries in the fields of digital economy, culture and ecosystem, financial technology, e-government and smart city, and will tender jointly for national and local technology development projects.
