Lingnan volunteers visit Tuen Mun elderly – to cheer them and celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival

On 26 August, 20 volunteers from Lingnan visited 150 elderly Fu Tai Estate residents, and distributed gift bags and mooncakes to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.

 

Partnered with Fu Tai Neighbourhood Elderly Centre of The Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council, the Home Visit - The Elderly in Tuen Mun event is part of the LU Community Service Programme which aims to reinforce the wellbeing and sense of belonging of older adults, particularly those living alone and immobile, by face-to-face interaction, and to offer help to those in need.
