Improving a personalised vocabulary learning system with artificial intelligence techniques

   
 
- To improve the personalised vocabulary learning system with AI techniques
- To facilitate the commercialisation and marketing of the system, and encourage the integration of AI techniques and education in Hong Kong

Secondary school and university students in Hong Kong

2. Expanding Hong Kong people’s space: Promoting cross-border employment and entrepreneurship in the Greater Bay Area
   
 
- To enhance public knowledge on employment opportunities and life information in the Greater Bay Area
- To promote cross-border youth entrepreneurship and retired living in the Greater Bay Area through study trips, training workshops and public seminars

The elderly, youth and general public

3. Transgelism: Promoting the concept and good practices of Chinese-English translation in Chinese-speaking communities
   
 
- To enhance Chinese-English translation teaching in mainland China through a series of workshops and small group discussions
- To contribute to the pedagogical repertoire of teaching Chinese-English translation in mainland China and beyond

3. Promoting effective compliance and enforcement of Hong Kong's Competition Ordinance
   
 
To promote corporate compliance of Hong Kong's Competition Ordinance and effective implementation of Hong Kong's competition policy by enhancing the public awareness and understanding in various anti-competitive business practices and their detrimental effects on competition and consumers

Business sectors in Hong Kong including trade associations, professional organisations and consumer bodies

4. Pilot project - Extending ICOSA exercises for use in secondary and tertiary institutions in Hong Kong and developing countries
   
 
- To deliver proven English language materials to secondary and tertiary institutions in Hong Kong and developing countries/regions where access to internet is limited
- To enable educators to enhance English course materials and standards more effectively

5. Virtual pioneers – Creative, interactive methods of exploring literary narratives for secondary English students using simulation technology
   
 
- To introduce secondary students and teachers of literature in English to the virtual world through experiential "field trips" exploring literary narratives
- To inculcate awareness and expertise in imaginative and interactive methods for accessing literary narratives
- To inform future best practice utilising simulation technology in education

7. Commoditization of computer system: Online Programme Outcomes Management System (POMS)
   
 
To help higher education institutions to enhance efficiency of the quality assurance processes and to more easily identify areas where academic programmes are not meeting their goals

Universities applying for accreditation from or already accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and those using or planning to use Outcome-based Assessment

11. Promoting effective e-learning modes in schools of Mainland China and Hong Kong
   
 
- To bring together education practitioners and policy-makers to share experiences on the use of technology in education
- To disseminate the findings from a large scale randomized experiment on the implementation of comprehensive e-learning models in a number of elementary and middle schools in the Mainland
